Full Consciousness, Full Presence, or Mindfulness is a practice of learning attention. It consists of stopping and "focusing deliberately on what is unfolding in the present, and without judgment" (Jon Kabat Zinn). As it is a training of the mind, it is neither a therapy, nor a relaxation technique, nor a way of "clearing". In our lives we may notice our tendencies to be carried away by thoughts, judgments, emotions, "automatic" reactions. Tossed between the past and the future, rare are the times when we are simply present and fully aware of what is happening in the moment.
